Bobby Brown released after NINE HOURS in jail: report

Bobby Brown was reportedly jailed for a mere nine hours after turning himself in for his third DUI yesterday.

The New Edition singer was to begin a 55-day stint in the slammer, but according to TMZ he was released last night from LA County Jail after his short stint due to overcrowding.

The 44-year-old was caught driving erratically on the streets of LA in October 2012. He was sentenced after pleading no contest to charges that he was driving under the influence with a restricted license. Brown was already on probation for a similar DUI arrest last March.

Bobby Brown pleaded no contest to a drunken driving charge and driving on a suspended license.

Brown's latest arrest comes a year after his former wife Whitney Houston's death. He is on four years' probation and has to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for 18 months
