The new Lay's potato chips flavors: Sriracha, Cheesy Garlic Bread and Chicken & Waffles.

Earlier this year Lay's' "Do Us A Flavor" contest unleashed three oddball flavors of potato chips onto the world and had the people decide which one they liked best.

Today Lay's announced the winner: Cheesy Garlic Bread, which will now go on sale nationwide for the rest of 2013.

When the Post reviewed the three Lay's contest flavors — Chicken & Waffles, Cheesy Garlic Bread and finally Sriracha, a Thai chili sauce — Cheesey Garlic Bread came in second with a score of four out a possible ten points. Sriracha was the winner of the Post's taste test with nine out of ten points while Chicken & Waffles brought up the rear with three out of ten points.

Mother of three Karen Weber-Mendham from Land O' Lakes, Wisconsin entered the Cheesey Garlic Bread flavor into Lay's' contest and she will receive $1 million in grand prize money or one percent of her flavor's 2013 net sales (whichever is higher). The two runner-up finalists will each win $50,000 in prize money.

Lay's has run the "Do Us A Flavor" contest all over the world with people suggesting flavors like Mastana Mango, Walkie Talkie Chicken, Caesar Salad, Chilli & Chocolate, Late Night Kebob and even Cajun Squirrel.
