A prisoner sparked a manhunt in Harlem this morning after he escaped from a cop car, authorities said.

Police from the 30th precinct had arrested the man for grand larceny and had him in handcuffs when he escaped from the back of a cop car on 145th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, police sources said.

There is a large cop presence in Harlem searching for him, including helicopters.

Cops are investigating whether he fled into the subway, and an MTA spokeswoman said the 145th station was shut down about 10:55 a.m.

There is no A and C subway service between 59th Street and 168th Street, and no B trains between Brighton Beach and 14th Street station.

The D train is also not running between the 34th Street station at Herald Street, and the 161st Street stop, according to the MTA.
