14-year-old arrested in sexual assault of young girl at Queens McDonald's

A 14-year-old boy was arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a young girl at a Queens McDonald's.

Investigators say the assault happened Tuesday in the restaurant's play area. The victim's mother tried to corral the suspect, but he got away. Surveillance images later helped residents and officials identify him.

Officials are trying to determine if the suspect was also involved with separate assaults involving a 9-year-old girl.

Police have not released the suspect's name due to his age.
