A 55-year-old dentist who suffered a fractured spine in the deadly Metro-North crash- and who was saved by a celebrity pastry chef — plans to file a notice to sue the MTA.
Dr. Denise Williams' attorney, personal injury lawyer Michael Lamonsoff, told The Post that he will file a notice of claim on Tuesday.
It would be the first legal action over Sunday's derailment near the Hudson Line's Spuyten Duyvil station in The Bronx that killed four passengers and left 63 injured.
Williams is recuperating at NewYork Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center where her family found chef Steven Ciccone watching over her after the accident.
Ciccone stayed with Williams, who had been pinned down by the wreckage according to her attorney, until emergency responders arrived.
He even used a ball of yarn he had on hand as makeshift support for her neck, Ciccone told WCBS from his own hospital bed.
