Since Kevin Garnett has joined the Nets in Brooklyn, Carmelo Anthony has seen his former antagonist in the NBA social circles and says their relationship is completely smoothed over. Heck, they may even share a bowl of cereal one day.
It was a different story last Jan. 7, when Anthony tried to confront Garnett after a Knicks-Celtics game at the Garden. Anthony became incensed when Garnett made an obscene remark oncourt about his wife, La La Vazquez, related to Honey Nut Cheerios. Monday will mark Garnett's first appearance at the Garden in a Nets uniform.
"I don't have no problem with him,'' Anthony said. "He don't have no problem with me. We talk. We laugh. We joke. I see him out and abouts. No problems.''
