School janitor charged with holding, raping woman: cops

A school janitor was arrested for imprisoning and raping a woman who was visiting a Brooklyn school where he was working, police sources said.

The victim was inside a Fort Greene middle school when Hernan Zapata, 51, grabbed her and locked her inside an office, where he assaulted and raped her around 3:45 p.m., Saturday, sources added.

Police said that the victim was not a minor.

Zapata was charged with rape, criminal sexual act, sex abuse, sexual misconduct, unlawful imprisonment and assault, police said.

He has no prior arrests in New York City, law enforcement sources said.
