The New York Water Taxi service kicks off Monday with a week of free rides.

After that the price will be set at $8 for round trip — but frequent users will get a discounted rate.

Currently all Hudson River ferry service operates between New Jersey and Manhattan, this will be the first Manhattan to Manhattan ferry service.
