A toddler fell to death from a fifth floor open window in The Bronx early Sunday, cops said.
The two-year-old boy, whose name is being withheld by police, awoke around 4:20 a.m. at his grandmother's Gerard Avenue apartment in Melrose, according to police.
The tot somehow climbed onto a windowsill and fell through the open window, plummeting five stories while his grandmother was fast asleep, cops said.
The boy was first rushed to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition but he was later pronounced dead, cops said.
The young boy's father was also home and sleeping at the time of the accident.
Police said no criminality is suspected.
