'Grey's Anatomy" has released the first trailer for its upcoming 11th season, and it looks like there may be trouble in paradise for the drama's central couple.
Picking up on a big fight in last season's cliffhanger finale, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) tells her husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) that she won't go to Washington, DC, instead opting to stay in Seattle.
With the couple facing a separation — at least by distance — Meredith finds comfort in the arms of Alex (Justin Chambers), while saying, "I just don't know if my marriage can survive this."
"Grey's Anatomy" returns Sept. 25 at a new earlier time of 8 p.m. on ABC.
