Bethenny to return to ‘Real Housewives’

Bethenny Frankel is going home to Bravo.

The former talk show host, 43, is set to return to the show that made her famous, "Real Housewives of New York City," reports Us Weekly.

The magazine reports that producers are hoping the reality TV starlet's return will boost ratings, which have declined in recent years. "Bringing her back is a last-ditch effort," said an insider.

Frankel left the show in 2010 and has since gone on to do many things including build her Skinnygirl empire. In March 2010, Frankel married Jason Hoppy and two months later they welcomed a baby girl named Bryn, now 4.

The pair would ultimately call it quits in December 2012. Their divorce proceedings have been anything but amicable.

As for "RHONY," only two cast members from the original season remain: LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer. Both appear sparingly.

Sources say Frankel's former best friend, Jill Zarin, could reappear to "rehash their issues." However, a second insider noted that "it's just talk" at the moment.

Requests for comment from Frankel's rep were not returned.
