In recent months, Netflix has adopted unique content as its own, particularly in the crime genre with hit series like Happy Valley, Peaky Blinders, The Fall, and The Killing. This time around, they're venturing into the fantasy realm with Marco Polo.
The streaming giant has just released an exclusive teaser trailer for their spanking new original series coming this December. All ten episodes will be available to binge starting December 12th, and, from the minute and a half we've seen so far, it looks pretty bad ass and nothing like that splish-splash nonsense you played in the pool as a tyke.
King's Landing looks like it has some competition. There are bow-and-arrow battles, naked people doing crazy acrobatics, vixens for days, and cobras! Not that Netflix has made any snoozer series, but subscribers have been waiting for an epic fantasy series like this for some time now. Marco Polo looks like it will surely satisfy that craving.
