Christina Aguilera's diva behavior cost her a very famous fan.
Actress Valerie Bertinelli recalled a bizarre encounter on Wednesday's episode of "Watch What Happens Live" after a viewer asked if there was a longstanding feud between the "Hot in Cleveland" star and the singer.
"I didn't have a feud with her," the 54-year-old said. "I was a fan at that time, a long time ago, and I went up to her because she was at a Van Halen concert."
Bertinelli said she greeted the songstress, 33, with "Oh my god, I think you're a beautiful singer."
But the actress alleged that Aguilera completely brushed her off and said, "Yeah, whatever."
"She gave me the cold shoulder," she added. "And I thought, 'B—tch, I'm a fan. You can't be nice to me?'"
Since the exchange, Bertinelli has not run into Aguilera.
"She might have gotten better, but I heard she hasn't," she quipped.
Requests for comment from both Bertinelli and Aguilera's reps were not immediately returned.
