Caroline Wozniacki rebounding with NFL star?

It looks like Caroline Wozniacki is serving at love again.

The blond tennis star, whose engagement with top-ranked golfer Rory McIlroy ended this spring in excruciatingly public fashion, turned heads by getting cozy with Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan at a DC-area charity event.

According to CSN Washington, the two spent the evening in close proximity and quiet conversation, though both declined to comment on their relationship status.

Wozniacki, 23, has been proudly single since splitting with McIlroy — by phone, with the wedding invitations in the mail. She made an exciting run to the US Open finals, where she lost to BFF Serena Williams, her frequent partner on the party circuit. Wozniacki also completed the New York Marathon last month, with a joyously tearful Williams there to greet her at the finish line.

If Wozniacki has a type, it's "sports star" — there's little else in the way of outward characteristics to connect her new match and former flame. Kerrigan, 26, an Indiana native, stands 6 feet 4 and weighs 260 pounds — holding a good 7 inches and 100 pounds on McIlroy, the slender Northern Irishman.
