A truck driver was shot to death early Thursday while delivering coffee products to a Bronx fruit stand, police sources said.
The victim, 57, was unloading things from the back of the truck when an unknown gunman shot him in the back at 5:30 a.m. on Halleck Street and Oak Point Avenue in Hunts Point, cops said.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he died, police said.
A motive for the shooting was unclear but police sources said that the victim still had his wallet and cell phone oh him, a police source said.
Two of his coworkers, who were in front of the truck at the time of the shooting, weren't injured, authorities said.
