The career criminal who recorded the chokehold death of Eric Garner has been arrested again—this time for selling drugs to an undercover cop during a sting operation in Staten Island early Tuesday, cops and law enforcement sources said.
Ramsey Orta, 23, was in his home on Van Duzer Street near Saint Paul's Avenue in Tompkinsville with him mom, when both were slapped with cuffs around 5 a.m., according to a law-enforcement source.
Orta's brother was also arrested at 90 Park Avenue in Manhattan, the source said.
All three were rounded up as part of a larger organized sting operation, sources said.
Orta allegedly handed off a total of 21 baggies of crack cocaine, nine glassines of heroin, 6 baggies of pot, eight oxycodone pills, and two alprazolam pills to the officer when he was busted, sources said.
He faces multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana, cops said.
Charges for the others arrested were not immediately available.
All three are expected to be arraigned in Staten Island Supreme Court later Tuesday.
