This New Jersey woman could get a one-way ticket to Mars.
Cassandra Morphy, 32, is one of 100 finalists vying to become the first humans to colonize the Red Planet as part of a Dutch nonprofit's planned mission.
More than 200,000 people worldwide applied to the Mars One project, but only 50 men and 50 women will make it to the next round — including 38 people living in the United States, with 33 of those born here.
Morphy, a data analyst and self-described sci-fi geek who lives in Keasbey, knows there's no return trip: All participants expect to die on the faraway planet.
"I love the idea of going to this place that nobody's been before," she told The Post. "It's a blank slate for humanity."
The future Martian said she has wanted to leave Earth since reading the "Red Mars" trilogy — about humans settling on the planet — as a teen.
"I've always been the weird one in the family," Morphy said. "My sister always thought I was an alien. My family figures this is an obvious choice."
Mars One plans to launch its first four-member crew in 2025 for an estimated cost of $6 billion.
Morphy has no qualms about leaving Mother Earth, except she'll miss pizza and television.
"Most of my friends, I contact them online anyway, so it's not going to be a big difference between contacting them on Earth and on Mars," she said. "It's just a slight delay in the conversation."
