12 reasons to follow Muppet instead of Toast on Instagram

They say it's not easy being a star — but imagine being related to one.

Toast, the toothless Cavalier King Charles spaniel puppy-mill rescue, has captured the hearts of more than 203,000 Instagram followers with her famously floppy tongue. But while the pup has been scoring modeling gigs with Karen Walker and boasts Katie Couric and Karlie Kloss among her celeb BFFs, there's a lesser-known pup behind the scenes: Toast's little sister, Muppet.

'Gramming under the username Muppets Revenge, the tricolor King Charles puppy-mill rescue self-identifies as "the Jan Brady of dogs." She has less than a tenth of the number of followers as Toast (18,700) and no fashion campaigns to speak of . . . yet.

But her passive aggressive attitude toward her spotlight-stealing sister is helping her page rack up followers (and having her teeth removed a la Toast hasn't hurt matters, either).

"I don't even like St Patricks Day but I appreciate any holiday that allows me to temporarily escape my life in the shadows of this b" writes Muppet (or, more likely, her human owners @thefatjewish and @katietinderpr).

Here, 12 reasons to unfollow Toast and let Muppet flood your news feed instead.

1. She has mastered the art of sarcasm

Toast gets monogrammed dog beds, pillows and even sweaters, while Muppet gets . . . nothing. Not that Muppet would accept handouts, anyway.

Toast is like "Friday Night Lights' " Lyla Garrity, pretty and perky but lacking in substance. But Muppet is Tyra Collete — hot, edgy and street-smart. Isn't it obvious who you'd rather spend time with?

She's a huge sociopath stuck in a tiny, furry little body, and we respect that.

It's so hard when people tell you all about their day, and you have to sit there and pretend like you care.

Muppet doesn't wait for opportunities to come to her. Instead, she forcibly takes them from Toast.

How was Muppet supposed to know the charming bichon from the dog run was two-timing her with that skanky Chihuahua from down the street?

Muppet is already planning her future love life with Chance, Olivia Munn's King Charles rescue pup. We've all been there.
