The apartment where "The Sopranos" star Drea De Matteo lived was among those destroyed in the massive gas explosion and fire in the East Village Thursday, the star revealed on social media.
"A hole where my N.Y.C. home of 22 years once stood. RIP 123 2nd Avenue," the 43-year old actress posted, along with a photo of her building surrounded by smoke, on Instagram Thursday.
Earlier in the day, De Matteo, who played Adriana La Cerva on the HBO mob hit from 1999 to 2006, posted a dramatic photo of the building, near Seventh Avenue engulfed in flames.
"NYC's finest trying to put out the flames to mine n many others apartments. Speechless. "[Pray] for those that are hurt," she posted, along with the image of fire fighters rushing to put out the blaze.
De Matteo, who has also starred on the FX cable show "Sons of Anarchy" was one of dozens of New Yorkers displaced on Thursday after the explosion set fire to four buildings, injuring at least 25 people with two missing.
