A burglary suspect opened fire at cops when they responded to a home invasion in Queens Monday morning, police sources said.
Officers arrived at 59-55 56th Street at 8:45 a.m. to the Ridgewood home and were able to detain the man without returning fire.
Five officers were taken to North Shore Hospital for minor injuries, and the suspect was taken in serious condition to Elmhurst Hospital.
He was later taken into the 104th Precinct station house for questioning, according to police sources.
No charges were filed as of Monday afternoon, cops said.
