Sophie Hunter's one-of-a-kind Valentino gown was photographed by Annie Leibovitz before her big day for the pages of Vogue.
In a snapshot from the issue posted by the fashion house, Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli are seen prepping the gown on the expecting mother.
Hunter, 37, and Benedict Cumberbatch, 38, quietly tied the knot on Feb. 14 on the Isle of Wight.
The custom-made gown, which was co-designed by Hunter, Chiuri and Piccioli, took three months to complete and is made of silver lace, according to Vogue (via The Daily Mail).
The design also features an empire waist, long sleeves, a high neckline and a lengthy train.
"It feels very much of nature, and it's so detailed and extraordinary that I'm still trying to get my head around how beautiful it is," Hunter said.
Although the couture creation is stunning, it couldn't distract from the affection Hunter has for her man.
"When two people meet and it's the right combination, it does ground you suddenly," she added.
