A UPS worker's legs were crushed and nearly severed when a car pinned him against his delivery truck on Staten Island Monday morning, law-enforcement sources said.
The unidentified victim was unloading packages when the black sedan plowed into him near 2044 Hylan Blvd. around 9 a.m., sources said.
"There was blood all over the street and sidewalk," said Christopher Amodio, who witnessed the grisly aftermath.
The UPS worker was rushed to Staten Island University North Hospital in serious condition, fire sources added.
The sedan driver remained at the crash scene and told cops he was trying to avoid a pedestrian when he swerved and hit the UPS driver, sources said.
No charges were immediately filed, but the incident was being reviewed.
