Cops investigating reported sexual assault near NYPD HQ in Manhattan

Police are investigating a report of sexual assault just steps from police headquarters and the federal courthouse in Manhattan.

A woman in her 20s told cops she was walking on Park Row just before 5 a.m., today when she was attacked by a Hispanic man with a red Adidas jacket.

The victim screamed and nearby workers rushed to help her, scaring off the assailant, sources said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but her injuries were not life-threatening, sources added.
