The What:
Always inspired by architecture and art, the designer said it was mid-century Danish modern designer Arne Jacobsen whose egg chair influenced her swirls and organic motifs. The Texan dished out her trademark ladylike silhouettes and impeccable tailoring. Rose used steely blues, violets and citrine yellows in the collection, where delicate lace detailing adorned many of the black and white dresses. The fantasy factor was amped up by gold flecked hair on the models.
The Highlight:
A model who stumbled over her heels, kicked them off and walked barefoot down the runway in an epic runway recovery. And a gorgeous floral print in poppy reds and peaches was beautiful in both a strapless cocktail dress and a two piece number.
The Takeaway:
The queen of the thinking woman's party dress still reigns.
