A five-alarm blaze ripped through a Morningside Heights building — and fire fighters are still on the scene, trying to contain the stubborn blaze.
The fire started just after 5 a.m. at Citibank on Broadway near West 111th Street, authorities said.
The fire started in the basement, according to authorities. 120 firefighters were on scene through the early morning hours.

"We waited for a little bit but the smoke was getting too heavy. We've been out here for about three hours now. I didn't know if the fire was going to jump over here so my husband and I woke the kids up and came outside," said Sarah Steiner, who lives in a neighboring building.
There was structural damage to a neighboring restaurant called The Heights.
Three firefighters were being treated at area hospitals for minor injuries, according to authorities.
