The Oscars may be the most prestigious awards show, but Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards are the slimiest. With Mark Wahlberg set to host the 27th annual event on March 29, here's a look at some of the best slimes in history. From Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake to the Olsen twins, no A-lister's safe from the gross green goop!
Justin Bieber and Will Smith
Before Justin Bieber racked up headlines for all the wrong reasons, he was adored by Beliebers everywhere. So much so that he was voted Favorite Male Singer at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards. After receiving the orange blimp, the Biebs was in for a slimey surprise, courtesy of host Will Smith.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Before taking over the fashion world, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were best known for their TV chops . . . and billion dollar empire to boot. At the 2004 KCAs, the dynamic duo presented the award for Favorite Female TV star alongside "The OC" alum (and now "Gotham" star) Ben McKenzie. After convincing the stylish sisters to pose for a picture, McKenzie gave the go-ahead to let the slime fly.
Johnny Depp and Ben Stiller
Even Captain Jack Sparrow can't escape the slime! During the 2006 Kids' Choice Awards, Johnny Depp and emcee Ben Stiller bickered over the age-old question of who gets to slime who. After pulling a lever on the stage, the future "Lone Ranger" star gets showered by lime green goop. Not to be outdone by Johnny, Ben got to enjoy a sliming of his own.
Katy Perry
Sliming comes in all shapes and sizes at the KCAs, and Katy Perry found out the hard way back in 2010. Set to present the award for Favorite Movie Actress with Jonah Hill, Katy unsuspectingly opened a mysterious box onstage. Within moments her vibrant ensemble was drenched in sticky slime.
Heidi Klum
Green is definitely Heidi Klum's color. Presenting Favorite TV Actress alongside Nick Cannon at the 2011 KCAs, Heidi was under the impression that the envelope would contain the winner's name. Not exactly, as the "Project Runway" bombshell was sprayed with slime instead.
Chris Colfer
If the Kids' Choice Awards have taught celebs anything, it's to think twice at the sight of even the teensiest bit of slime. Obviously Chris Colfer missed the memo during the 2012 festivities. While standing at the podium with veteran-slimer Heidi Klum, the "Glee" star downplayed the slime spewing from the orange blimp until it was too late. Though Chris got the brunt of the goop, Heidi and her cream-color mini failed to walk away unscathed . . . or unslimed, for that matter.
Justin Timberlake
Host Justin Timberlake definitely knew how to make an entrance at the 2007 ceremony. After arriving to the stage by blimp, the "Mirrors" singer then broke into a song-and-dance number about how he's too famous for slime. Apparently the powers that be (a k a the show's producers) had other plans in mind. Before taking his final bow, JT and his slick penguin suit were doused in slime.
Josh Duhamel
Beware the throne of slime! After receiving the "Arm Fart Hall of Fame" award during the 2011 KCAs, Josh Duhamel plopped down on the throne and, well, let's just say he let the slime do the talking.
