Elderly woman in wheelchair has purse snatched off lap

A ​cruel bandit snatched ​the purse right off the lap of a 98-year-old woman sitting in a wheelchair on a Brooklyn sidewalk, cops said Friday.

The victim was with her home attendant on Ocean Parkway and Church Avenue around 1 p.m. June 29 when the heartless thief ​rode up ​on a bicycle and swiped the pocketbook, according to police.

Inside were the woman's cell phone, keys, Medicaid card and $400 in cash, cops said.

Police are still hunting the thief, who was caught on video surveillance.
