A man, who was sleeping underneath a car, was critically injured in Brooklyn Monday when the driver pulled out, hitting and pinning him underneath the car, officials said.
The driver was parked on 39th Street near Seventh Avenue in Sunset Park, when he got in an went to drive off around 5 a.m., authorities said.
He had no idea that there was a man underneath the car and wound up hitting him, police said.
The victim was rushed to Lutheran Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
Investigators believe the victim may have been intoxicated, sources said.
