Model Tyson Beckford is no longer footing the bill for his drunk-driving nephew's murder defense.
The lawyer for Dominic Whilby, who's charged in the vehicular murder of an MTA bus driver during a post-clubbing drunken rampage with a stolen truck, claims the sexy underwear model is a deadbeat who hasn't paid him for his services.
Attorney Harvey Slovis, who's represented a slew of celebrities including Sean "Puffy" Combs, said he asked a Manhattan judge Wednesday to relieve him of Whilby's case because he's only been paid a fraction of what he's owed for repping the troubled 22-year-old star relative.
"[Beckford] paid me next to nothing," said Slovis. "I was doing it at a lesser price and I couldn't get paid. I tried to contact him for two weeks about payment.
"Beckford's response was that I was fired and that was disrespectful and that was not true."
A new attorney traveled from California to appear Wednesday in Manhattan Supreme Court for Whilby's scheduled court date, Slovis said.
"(The new attorney) told the judge at the bench he's not taking the case unless he gets payment," said Slovis.
Whilby is charged with killing driver William Pena last February when he sped through the West Side in an Isuzu truck he stole, blew a red light and slammed into the bus Pena driving.
His famous uncle wasn't in court but outside the courtroom, another man, who identified himself as another uncle, disputed Slovis' claims.
"If the old lawyer didn't get paid, how did the new lawyer get paid?" he said.
Beckford's rep didn't immediately respond to an email seeking comment.
