Just because Tom Coughlin has led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories doesn't mean that Eagles center Jason Kelce thinks the coach is all that bright.
Kelce fired the latest shot in the rivals' weeklong war of words, piling onto Jason Pierre-Paul's mathematical gaffe from Thursday, when the Giants defensive end said the Eagles were "4-1, but they could have easily been 0-4."
Kelce not only insulted the intelligence of Pierre-Paul, but went after Coughlin as well.
"I don't think Jason Pierre-Paul is smart enough to come up with that statement on his own," Kelce told WIP radio in Philadelphia. "I think he's the type of guy who just reiterates what his coaches have been telling him. So I'm a little worried about Tom Coughlin's math."
Kelce was then asked if he was unimpressed by the intellect of the Giants.
"That is correct," Kelce said. "They are a good football team, though. But, yes."
