Bon jour, Matthew McConaughey!
A British man awoke from a coma, following a terrible car crash, speaking fluent French and believing he was "True Detective" actor Matthew McConaughey, The Sun newspaper reported on Monday.
Rory Curtis, 25, knew deep down he wasn't really the famed Texas thespian, but said he couldn't help thinking about his next movie shoot.
"When I looked in the mirror, I was shocked because I didn't look like him. I didn't know what I was looking at," Curtis said.

"Then it eventually clicked and I thought, `He is an actor — what am I on about?' But at times I was in (the) hospital thinking, `I can't wait to get out of here and back to filming movies.' "
Even weirder than the McConaughey persona was Curtis' sudden command of French — a language he studied in school, but was far from fluent in speaking.
"I don't remember coming round but my family said one of the nurses was from Africa and spoke French and I was having conversations with her," said Curtis, from the town of Redditch, just south of Birmingham.
"My mum and dad were stunned when they got to (the) hospital and the nurse asked them what side of the family was French?"
He added: "I wasn't really that good at it in school, so I don't (know) how my brain has managed to do what it has."
Ever since coming out of the six-day coma back in 2012, Curtis said, he's had a new appreciation for life itself.
"The accident changed my outlook on life," he said. "I can't leave the house now without telling everyone I love them and giving them a hug."
