A toddler was found wandering around in the snow in a shirt and pair of Mickey Mouse socks–but two Good Samaritans rescued her from the cold and now the tot's aunt is being questioned by police, sources said.
The girl, who has not yet been identified, was on 19th Avenue at 67th Street at 6:35 a.m. in Bensonhurst, when a postal worker, Hector Rodriguez, and a pal, Linda, 40, spotted her on their way to the Atlantic train station.
"By the luck of God we saw her. I'm a mom, the instincts just kick in. I had to save that child and get her out of the snow. It was pitch black out. She was alone," she explained.
The little girl's aunt, who has not yet been identified, walked into the 62nd Precinct station house around 9 a.m. shortly after she realized the tot was missing.
Child Protective Services has been notified, cops said.
The girl had on a long red shirt, a pair of pink Mickey Mouse socks, and was holding a bottle of milk, the Good Samaritan said.
"We were in the car and saw a little figure walking alone. I said, wait a minute, that's a kid!" Linda said.
The couple grabbed the tot by the hand and led her into their car to warm her up while they awaited police.
"She was happy, even smiling. She was brave," Linda,40, added.
Police arrived in about 10 minutes and a cop took off his jacket and covered her to help her stay warm.
"We started knocking on doors but we couldn't locate the parents. We were looking for a door that may have been open, a door she could have walked out of, but we couldn't find (her home)," Hector Rodriguez,45, said.
Cops say a city-wide alert was issued to commands all over the five boroughs to help locate the child's parents.
"I just hope they find this poor girl's parents. I have an 11-year-old daughter. I don't know what I would do," she explained.
The girl has brown eyes, straight black hair down to her shoulders and is believed to be about 2 years old, police said.
