Stone Cold Steve Austin has gone from the biggest star in professional wrestling to the host of one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes.
The Steve Austin Show is ranked 39th in the top podcast charts and regularly features Austin talking to his old buddies from the wrestling game.
This week he invited Triple H, who has transitioned from in-ring performer to WWE executive, on the show and the discussion was fascinating.
Triple H opened up on a range of issues facing the company as well as the futures of megastars Brock Lesnar and CM Punk, who have become crossover stars in mixed martial arts.
Brock Lesnar may leave after WrestleMania

Triple H didn't sound confident in WWE's chances of talking Brock Lesnar into continuing past WrestleMania 31 in March.
Lesnar is the current WWE world heavyweight champion but has been unwilling to commit to the company long-term.
"We're constantly talking to Brock. It all comes down to Brock, I think, on what Brock Lesnar wants to do," Triple H said.
"I think somewhere in his mind he's not sure if he has unfinished business or not. I think he loves what he's doing here right now, I think he loves the arrangement. We have a great working relationship. We love having him here. It just comes down to does he want to … does he have unfinished business?"
CM Punk is a "weird cat"

CM Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, shocked the world when he announced last December he was embarking on a career in the UFC.
Punk left the WWE in early 2014 after a controversial six-year career but Triple H told Austin he'd never had any issues with the multiple world championship winner.
"I've never had a beef with him … " Triple H told Austin.
"He's a weird cat. I don't mean that as a knock. I mean that as, he's hard to get to know, he doesn't talk, he doesn't communicate well. I would hear from everybody in my role now as talent relations, 'Oh, my God, he's livid today, he's quitting, he's this, he's that,' and I'd go to him and ask what's going on, and I'd get, 'Nothing, everything's fine.' It's tough …
"It's my regret that we couldn't get past all this stuff with him, but he didn't want to be here anymore. If this wasn't his passion anymore, then he shouldn't be here. You can't do this job if you don't love it."
Why Chyna isn't in the Hall of Fame

One of the most testing questions Austin asked Triple H was whether there were plans to place his former girlfriend and wrestling colleague Chyna in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Chyna was wrestling's first female star but after leaving the business later embarked on an adult film career.
"From a career standpoint, should she be in the Hall of Fame? Absolutely," Triple H said.
"It's a bit difficult, though, and this is the flip side of the coin — and this is the side nobody looks at — I've got an eight-year-old kid, and my eight-year-old kid sees Hall of Fame, and my eight-year-old kid goes on the internet to look at Chyna. What comes up? And I'm not criticizing anybody. I'm not criticizing lifestyle choices. Everybody has their reasons. I don't know what they were. I don't care to know. It's not a morality thing or anything else. It is just the fact of what it is. That's a difficult choice."
D-Generation X better than NWO
Alongside Shawn Michaels, Triple H was one of the original members of the Attitude Era's signature group, D-Generation X.
Triple H said in his eyes the group was the most influential in WWE history, ranking it ahead of the Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall-comprised nWo.
"The NWO at first was massively influential in that it took this reality slant of the business, with Kevin and Scott going over [to WCW] and it looking like it was this invasion, and Hogan jumping in with them," Triple H said.
"But the massive impact that they had quickly dissipated because they put a bunch of guys in there and it got watered down. It fell apart. So it was massively influential but it didn't last long. If I had to say over time, DX probably did more things in the various incarnations over a long period of time."
