Lena Dunham haters, rejoice!
The actress, known for her role as Hannah Horvath on "Girls," finally got her shot at a guest appearance on "Scandal" in Thursday night's episode — giving many of her nonfans reason to celebrate as Huck (Guillermo Diaz) unexpectedly slit Dunham's throat with a knife in one of the season's most shocking moments.
News of Dunham's gig on the show first broke on March 5, when Dunham Instagrammed a photo of herself alongside Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington).
"Finally at liberty to reveal this pic of me on the #scandal set as 'Kinky Sue' with my true ❤️ @kerrywashington," she captioned the pic.
She's been open about her fascination with the Shonda Rhimes-produced show for years, even telling Grantland in a February 2014 interview that it was her "life's great passion" to guest star on the show as "a really evil character."
It's no surprise that Dunham, who has been generously dubbed "the voice of her generation," got her wish.
Appearing on the show as "Kinky Sue," Dunham's character (who wore a horrific wig throughout the episode) threatens to publish a memoir detailing her sexual relationships with a slew of Capitol Hill notables unless the disgraced men can fork over $3 million in hush money.
Worried she'll still blab, Huck — who is depending on David Rosen (Josh Malina) to grant him immunity for his work with B613 — kills Kinky Sue to protect Rosen, who is one of the men in the book.
"SUE COULD NOT BE MORE DEAD," Dunham live-tweeted of her character's demise during the episode.
"And you know what? I still love Huck #Scandal"
Up next for the actress/writer/director? Stepping up as executive producer for HBO's "It's Me, Hilary: The Man Who Drew Eloise," which airs on Monday, March 23.
