Amanda Bynes seems to be in a hair crisis.
The oddball New Yorker was recently seen perusing hat stands to perhaps conceal the noticeable micro-beading on her scalp from her attached bleach-blond tresses.
The retired 27-year-old actress is all too aware of the unflattering photos of her hair popping up on gossip blogs. On Wednesday, she defended her look in her ever-revealing Twitter.
"I had to shave my head because of hair damage from someone @ John Barrett so I'm not loving my paparazzi pics for a few years. I have extensions but you can see them!"

Amanda Bynes covers her face while walking around New York City. She wrote about the micro-beading process on her roots, "I have extensions but you can see them!"
Bynes sent out a sad tweet yesterday, saying that she cut ties with her parents. "I don't speak to my parents anymore, they don't talk to reporters on my behalf. Don't believe anything you read about me unless I tweet it."
She was perhaps responding to reports that her parents, Lynn and Rick, are "very upset" about the negative attention she's been receiving in the press.
