The 6 worst performances from Tuesday’s Fashion Rocks concert

"Fashion rocks!" But on Tuesday night at Barclays Center, the music did anything but.

The two-hour charity extravaganza, broadcast live on CBS, was meant to be the highlight of New York Fashion Week, celebrating music's relationship with the fashion world.

But although many of the outfits were eye-catching, the show mostly served up aural atrocities. For every enjoyable act, like Miranda Lambert's performance or Duran Duran's hits medley, there seemed to be two stinkers akin to that of Enrique Iglesias or Pitbull.

These, however, take the cake for the very worst numbers of the night.

Jennifer Hudson, 'It's Your World'

There's a fine line between singing and howling — and Jennifer Hudson trampled over it with the limp-disco of "It's Your World."

She later returned to bellow her way through Sylvester's stone-cold disco classic "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" with even more horrific results.

Nico & Vinz, 'Am I Wrong'

The dullest hit of the summer was delivered by Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz, who continue to confuse everyone with their sudden fame. A poor performance was made even worse when they slipped in a snippet of Duran Duran's "A View to a Kill."

Who even let those guys in the building?

J-Lo, 'Booty'

J-Lo: "Hi everyone. I'm Jennifer Lopez and I've got a huge butt. Here it is, see? Can you see it? Let me show it to you. Can you see it now?"

The World: "Yes! We can see it! You've been showing it to us nonstop for 15 years. Now, please, for the love of God, go away."

KISS, 'Rock and Roll All Nite'

Grandpa's favorite band was dusted off to croak their way through another few minutes of pantomime. The fashion world is supposedly ahead of the curve, but for Fashion Rocks' big finish, they went back to rock 'n' roll's Jurassic era.

Nice work, guys.

Magic!, 'Rude'

The anemic reggae quartet sounded even weaker in the vastness of the Barclays Center. Mercifully, the Canadians were told by producers to play a shortened version of "Rude" to save broadcast time — and, presumably, to save the sanity of viewers, too.

Rita Ora, 'Fashion'

The Brit's cover of David Bowie's catwalk staple started promisingly, with Ora pouting and strutting not unlike the great man himself in his pomp. But the performance soon descended into free-form shrieking.
